Going to GoodFest

How can I even begin to put these few days into words?

I have sat on this for the best part of two months wondering how I can articulate the magic; the moments spent in the sea and the time spent talking over dinner. Some things are so special that you have to sit with them for a while, that’s what I’ve done, and now I feel just about ready to share.

GoodFest was unlike anything I have ever been to. No name tags or lanyards, no intros or expectations, just a room full of people with big dreams and even bigger hearts, wanting to share their wonder with the world.

I dove in, feet first, and got stuck into everything that was on offer.

A workshop that made me cry (thank you, Mark), followed by a gentle check in from a stranger (thank you, Alex).

Running into the sea with friends old and new to feel the magic of Mother Nature on the Cornish Coast.

Dining on big, long tables and dancing with a cup of tea in hand until the last bus home.

Perfect.

A business event, but so much more, and filled with the kind of magic that lights you all the way up and reminds you why we’re all doing this.

To all the souls that I shared moments, words, space, food, sea, emotions, love, hugs, tiramisu, car rides, sunrises, and sunsets with, thank you.

And a huge thank you to the team who dreamt up this magic and made it all possible. Wow.

Until next time.
